Murphy Brown Fritz
Murphy Brown Fritz.
July 16, 1998 – March 8, 2012.
Beloved companion.
Devoted sister.
Terror of squeaky toys.
Friend to the universe.
AMBASSADOR TO THE DRAGON KINGDOM.
My beloved child and friend. Soul mate.
We rocked the universe at her funeral. “This is fun!” she yelled, as she danced with us. It would been perfect if she’d still been in her body.
We love you, Murphy. Always. Thank you for the great gift of sharing your life with us.
With me.
You made a difference. You loved. We will always love you.

You and the kids are in my thoughts, Robyn. I’m a little late to reply because I didn’t really have much to add to what others have already said. You and Murphy’s journey has been and continues to be an inspiration.
Robyn says
Thank yu so much, Diane. We miss Murphy so much, and your love and support help.
Lynda says
Robyn,
Sorry about the loss of your precious one. She was quite a gal, I remember when she was a pup and when the siblings came along. You gave her a wonderful home and family, thank you for caring deeply about her. Best Regards, Lynda
Robyn says
Thank you, Lynda. I miss her dreadfully. I am remembering how much we enjoyed spending time with you. Be well.
Kyra says
My heart is with you, Robyn and Alki and Grace.
As all your friends have said, Murphy is fine, or, rather, rocking the universe. For her family though, it’s a new state of being, to miss and mourn her physically. May you have peace and strength and love and warmth from each other and all around you.
Kyra
Robyn says
Thank you, Kyra. We appreciate your kind thoughts, warmth, and friendship.
Michelle Nichols says
Dear Robyn, You have impressed us all with your fortitude in following Murphy in her journey. She was a sweet and lovable girl whose big personality and little body will be missed. Thank you for including us in your circle of friends, as we all learn from each other. Murphy’s lessons to us all will be her forever legacy.
Hugs,
Michelle, Carol and the AHELPers
Robyn says
Thank you for your support, Michelle and Carol and AHELPers. You’re great people and a wonderful organization. And friends.
Paul & Libby says
Robyn–
Blessings, and we sorrow with you. Murphy, of course, is fine.
Hold Alki and Grace close for us.
We will see you soon.
Love,
Paul and Libby
Robyn says
Thank you Paul and Libby. I will always appreciate how you helped us when we needed it and you celebrated with us, too.
Donna Timmerman says
We all love Murphy. She’s been a wonderful ambassador from the dog kingdom and will continue in that role in the spirit world. My heart goes out to you, Robyn, because I know how difficult it is to physically let go.
Robyn says
Thank you, Donna! You were one of the first of Murphy’s friends who could actually talk with her, and your support of us, and your wonderful healing work, has been a blessing to us all these years. Thank you for your warmth and friendship. We miss Murphy terribly. I was grateful that we accidentally found the tumor in December, so we knew our time was short, but watching her age so rapidly has been hard. She was wonderful, and you remind me how wonderful our friends are.
Adrienne Ross says
Sending my love and prayers to you, Robyn, because if Murphy is anywhere she is, as you say, rocking the universe. Take care of yourself and remember the rest of your family, and your friends, are still here.
Robyn says
Thank you, Adrienne, I know you’ve followed our journey. We are processing. Glad to know people are here for us!
Jody McDermott says
My love to my granddog Murphy and to you Robyn and granddog Alki and grandcat Grace. Murphy was a special girl interested in everything and loveing life. She may not be here in body but her energy will always be with you. You both still have work to do together.
Jody
Robyn says
Thank you and ours to you and yours.
Jacci says
Sending prayers for Murphy’s sweet repose, and to you Robyn for your heart to heal from this difficult experience.

Robyn says
Thank you, Jacci. Transitions like this are hard, devastating. Every day it’s a process of learning what you really miss, and it’s the little things: the snuggle close before getting up in the morning, the earnest eyes looking for a treat. Your friendship helps.
